Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is most well-known as a character in films like Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). The latter movie Cornish received her first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin was able to decide to become an actor because of the affection and support that she was given by her parents. When the time came to enroll in college she picked Fordham College where she learned how to perfect her craft. Gilpin began her acting career off-Broadway as she tried out for roles in film and television. After making a brief appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent and a few other small roles for the films Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin was able to land a variety of TV part-time roles in the years to come, but her breakout moment came in 2013 when she was chosen to be a regular character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin, as Carrie Roman Gilpin as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, made an appearance in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie prior to the series was cancelled on June 15th, the 15th of June, 2015. Gilpin starred in True Story, a thriller that has a mystery component.
